Farmington, Conn. ( April 5, 2016)
- Is your biological clock ticking? How easy will it be to become pregnant when you decide the time is right? Sometimes referred to as “the baby deadline test”, this free fertility test will tell women roughly how much time they have left to become pregnant. This event is open to women ages 30-42 and will be held on Saturday, April 30th, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Center’s world-class facility at 2 Batterson Park Road in Farmington.
At the event, participants will complete a personalized fertility questionnaire and take a simple blood test called the AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) test. Approximately two to three weeks later, all participants will receive a phone call from a member of the Center’s clinical staff to review their individual results, receiving a comprehensive picture of their fertility now and into the future. The AMH test works by estimating what is called “ovarian reserve” which measures the number of follicles developing in the ovary at a particular time and compares an individual’s results with women of the same age.
