Paul Grow, MD, MHCM joins The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services as Lead Physician and Associate Fellowship Director

Dr. Grow is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Formerly affiliated with Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, Dr. Grow was a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the new University of Massachusetts Medical School- Baystate, and Chairman of the department of Ob/Gyn for Baystate Health System. After training in reproductive endocrinology in Norfolk VA, he led the IVF program at Baystate for 15 years, pushing their efforts toward excellence, with high pregnancy rates and leading the nation in single embryo transfer and minimizing preterm delivery. “Dr. Grow has been involved in all aspects of infertility and is a passionate advocate for quality and safety in women’s health,” stated John C. Nulsen, MD, Director and a lead physician at the Center.  “We are extremely pleased to have him join our team.”

 

Dr. Grow has long had an interest in health care quality. He has contributed to 40 peer reviewed publications, which have focused on optimizing ovarian stimulation, improving embryo transfer, and mastering techniques in reproductive surgery. He specializes in the reproductive medicine needs of his patients and gives them individualized care, honed through many years of experience. According to Claudio Benadiva, MD, HCLD, Director of the IVF Laboratory and a lead physician at the Center, “With his research experience and commitment to the latest technologies and treatments, Dr. Grow will be an asset to our patients.”

Dr. Grow graduated with his medical degree in 1987 from Pennsylvania State University and he completed his residency in Ob/Gyn from York Hospital in PA. His fellowship in reproductive endocrinology was completed at The Jones Institute- Eastern Virginia Medical School. He recently graduated with an M.S. in Health Care Management from Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Grow has been selected annually since 2001 as a “Best Doctor in America”, a special honor given to the top 5% of physicians in over 400 subspecialties.

The Center for Reproductive Services is Connecticut’s largest fertility program and one of the most successful in the country. Started in 1984, the Center employs over 100 individuals in the state and is responsible for the births of over 12,000 babies. The Center is an academic affiliate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and runs the fellowship program in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at the UConn School of Medicine.
