Quinnipiac University is currently accepting applications for the long-term care administration certificate program for the fall 2018 semester.
This state-approved certificate program prepares students for the national nursing home administrator exam and Connecticut licensure requirements.
After completing the coursework, students will embark on two 450-hour residencies in separate skilled nursing facilities, where they will gain hands-on experience. Students will be exposed to each facility’s entire operation and develop an understanding of both the business and patient services side of the industry.
Applications are currently being accepted for the fall 2018 semester. The application deadline is July 30. Individuals who have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university are encouraged to apply.
