Event Description:

Continuing to Emphasize the Importance of Collaboration to Employment and Capital Investment Growth

A full-day program featuring members of Connecticut's Federal Delegation, State officials and industry leaders focusing on changes in Federal Health Policy including the Affordable Care Act. The day will include a series of three panel discussions of which attendees can learn more about policy shifts that will have an impact on the availability, cost, and delivery of health services in Connecticut.

The program's primary focus is how Federal Health Policy changes will impact the Council’s key priorities: the growth of private sector employment and capital investment in Connecticut’s health sector. Both panel discussions and break-out sessions will engage participants in a further exploration of how greater cross sector collaboration can leverage these changes to the benefit Connecticut's Health Sector.

Based on feedback and suggestions from Founding Partners, this program is designed to be an interactive experience to further build on the Council’s 2016 D.C. Forum.
